On January 10th 2017, former owner Kim Reed-Upham handed over the keys of Captain Sawyer's to Jo Moore. Since that day, many days of planning, cleaning, painting, and discovery have taken place. I say discovery because a house this old always comes with surprises, such as the original hardwood floors that had been covered for years by linoleum, plywood, and carpet-what a treat!
